Si occupa di letteratura femminile giapponese, in particolar modo dal punto di vista dei feminist, gender e queer studies. Ha scritto principalmente dei rapporti tra la letteratura femminile del dopoguerra e il teatro. In particolare si occupa di scrittrici attive tra gli anni 1960-1980 (Enchi Fumiko, Kurahashi Yumiko, Saegusa Kazuko, Nogami Yaeko), ma ultimamente si occupa anche di scrittrici contemporanee (Tawada Yōko, Matsuda Aoko). |
